Theatre Newfoundland Labrador (TNL) is a provincially incorporated not-for-profit organization with charitable status in Canada dedicated to creating and producing professional theatre which reflects the lives and diversity of our audiences on the province’s west coast, extending to Labrador and across the island of Newfoundland.

Through its Gros Morne Theatre Festival, youth theatre programming, courses in theatre instruction, and touring productions, TNL seeks to provide audiences with thought-provoking and relevant theatre, with emphasis on regional and Canadian work.

Our mandate is to promote TNL as a leading cultural voice for its communities, and to develop and maintain a growing arts community and audience on the west coast of Newfoundland & Labrador.

TNL is committed to the creation and development of new plays for and about Newfoundland & Labrador and presenting these plays to the world; and producing plays from the international repertoire that speak to the place in which we live.
