Current Season:

As the Centre enters its 50th year in the community and its 10th season since becoming the Segal Centre, it has planned a season that invites audiences to reflect on the past, revel in the present, and get fired up about the future. In pursuit of the Segal’s mission to bring the best new musical theatre to its stage, the season will feature The Hockey Sweater: A Musical, an adaptation of the iconic story about one of our country’s greatest passions, and The Angel and the Sparrow, the English language premiere of a tale drenched with classic songs that shines new light on the relationship between Edith Piaf and Marlene Dietrich. As well, the season will present thought-provoking, world class theatre to Montreal audiences, including a production of the sci-fi drama Marjorie Prime, a presentation of the Shaw/Obsidian hit “Master Harold”…and the Boys, a revival of our 2014 production of Bad Jews and a presentation of the Tony Award-nominated hit, Golda’s Balcony.
